It's been so long since I posted on my blog, that I am almost ashamed to do so. However......
This is a mat I hooked for our dear Grandson, Kieran Arthur Kirby, who was born on May 14th. My DH. and I visited with him and presented him with this( which I hope to be) treasure. I made a special tag for the back telling the information about his Great-Grandmother, who taught me how to hook and his Great-Great-Grandmother, who had taught his G.G. ...a bit of history there for him. All names are included, of course . Hope he is as interested in genealogy as his Grandfather is.
Next post will be an update on our vegetable garden and other things as well...
Congratulations!! What a cutie. I love that you made him a rug with all the farm animals on it. What a treasure!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you!
Hope all is well,
Courtney

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous rug that you designed and hooked for your new grandson. What a lucky little lad he is to be given this. You are very talented and your grandson is adorable.
Sorry I missed this post way back. I haven't been a great blogger because of work and not enough hours in the day. I hope that the weather has improved your way, I haven't paid much attention to the weather lately but sure hope that you got your hay in. It has been miserable here but we managed to get most of the fields cut. Some were just too wet so they were left uncut...
