This is a photo of what we did today...We began really early in the morning and took us up to the afternoon...Very enjoyable day, to say the least. This Jam is made up of what we call Bankberries (Cranberries) that were picked by us, Rhubarb that we grow and applesauce. Now that makes a very nice jam.
Tomorrow, hopefully, it will be Bakeapple (Cloudberry) Jam Plus Cherry, too. Will keep you posted on our success...

Wow Anne - You've been busy! I never would have thought of using frozen fruit to make jam, but why not, huh?
ReplyDeleteGayle, we put all the berries through the blender and sure makes the jam nice and smooth.....:)

ReplyDeleteNo recipe in particular...we used five gallons of cranberries, 4 bags (3 lbs. each) of apples, cooked, about 4 lbs. of cooked rhubarb,8 cups of sugar...we let the cranberries cook to a rolling boil being careful not to burn on the bottom of the pot, a lot of stirring :) added the others, then canned...Hope this helps...
