My Donation
I'm not sure how many of you will remember that I donated a mat which I call "12 Icons of Newfoundland" to my local Church Group to raise much needed funds. Today I learned that a total of $539.00 was raised by selling tickets on it and I am very pleased seeing that I live in a tiny community of less than two hundred people. Needless to say, the committee members are also pleased. So you see, our work does help!!!

ReplyDeleteI have had loads of interest in the mat I donated to SPCA and people already asking to buy tickets. I will let you know how much is raised as a result.
BTW, I had to have the mat appraised as part of the donation process and it was valued at $700.00....wow!
Great work Anne. My fundraiser is coming up Friday night. I dare not dream of raising that much money for my little rug, but am hoping we can surpass last years total.
